Really bad service from the staff! They looked and seemed angry all the time. Every question from us were a big problem for them. They didnt say hello when we came to the reception.
Old rooms with lots of mosquitos outside. The pool is really poor and surrounded with a fence. Not inviting!
Do not book this hotel! Book Cabana next to the resort instead.

The room was really old and dirty and the water in the tap smelt really bad, i will never book it again. The pool was old and the water was dirty. It was way to expensive and I am never going back to that place.

For the price, the rooms are great. If you re looking for luxury, this isn t the place for you, but it s good value.

We enjoy our stay, just as we did last time, it was same nice people at Malibu Resort. Always clean rooms, hotwater. The breakfast is a little poor.
We will go there again!!

This hotel was really below our expectations. The breakfast was the worst we had experienced in all our trip around Thailand. Cheap for peak season, standard breakfast was good. I ll stay again in Malibu during of my next visit of Vongduen beach.

Vongduean beach is a nice place to be, but;
-Malibu Garden Resort is really not a nice place. Unless someone likes to pay big and live in a mouldy concrete bunker called deluxe . The extremely dirty pool were full of some multicolour liquid, bugs and garbage. The kitchen staff seem to hate their jobs, dont bother ask them anything, -you wont get an answer. Very good location for a relaxing holiday very good value for money also in the evening resturants on the beach not very expensive to eat and drink. Lovely place to go my second time will go again

Rooms were adequate size, clean and well equipped. The pool was unusable due to it been extremely dirty
The beach also was very dirty, local restaurants were expensive and not high quality, no evening entertainment

Enjoyed the stay, nice facility and location.
Took a 4 island tour - great snorkling.
Recommend coordinating to take a Malibu Ferry, takes you right to the spot. Otherwise you must take a very bumpy land taxi from the island s main pier, to the resort.

Old and tired-looking resort but lovely location. Rooms are basic and electricity intermittent. Restaurant food is good. Helpful staff.

The location of the resort is very good. The rooms are clean, but far below the standard which you can find in Pattaya for the same price. The facilities are old, but still ok compared to other resorts on the island.
The pool and the pool area are dirty just useful to shower after a bath in the sea.
A shower at the beach is missing and a footbath to clean the feet from sand.
Also beach towels are not provided free of charge what is crazy for the room price they charge.
The breakfast is also far below the standard, which you can find in Pattaya.

Really probably one of the worst resorts on Vongduan beach. The room was incredibly small. The shower was terrible. The staff constantly tried to sell things instead of asking to help. Really, do some research and go somewhere else.

Not much hot water, free breakfast was cold (bacon and eggs). Good place, clean, polite staff. will book again there.
