Great Place to stay when in Lamai.
Wonderful staff.
Cafe that holds the clean food, good taste award and food is great.
Only thing is that the umbrellas need changed as they are rusty and so was our shower but staff replaced it immediately.

Unfortunately in my room number 603 was a broken air conditioner. It does not adjust the direction of air flow. And while sleeping cold air blowing directly at me. In the beginning I did not pay attention to it, but the result was ear diseases. This is the 2nd time we spent our vacation in Lamai Wanta Resort (previosu: Aug 2005). The resort is still good. This time, I saw many newly implanted plants one the lawn. The resort was quite big, makes things not so personal as we like. Still nice staff and very proffessional. We was really unlucky since we stayed here during the horrible storm/rain that striked this area. Staff did what they could do to makes things work. Great place on Lamai beach. Great value for the money. Recomended hotel both for couples and people traveling with children.
The restaurant staff was very friendly and helpful. They love children, especially two waitresses (Pim, Ne)
Clean pool, great bungalows, hotel area could need some renovation, some areas looked a bit worn out. Nice breakfast, but same every day.

We stayed at Lamai Wanta during part of our honey moon. We stayed in the Sea View Bungalow which really only has a view of all the tourist tanning by the pool. The bungalow itself was fair but it didn t even have a phone to call for room service, a kettle or complimentary coffee and you are constantly forced to turn the AC off when you go out as they welded the room key to the electrical card. it seemed that the grounds keeping was looking dated.. The grass was long, unkept and overgrown. Even though we were staying in one of the most expensive suites and on our honeymoon, when our wedding planner came to drop off our wedding video the front desk couldn t even find us in the computer. We wont be staying there again.

Nice Hotel on an quiet Beach Section, Beach Bars, shops everithing you need in Minutes reached, living in an Hotel Room, ist was clean and big enough for us. Nice Vegetation. Very friendly Staff, always previously. Good Breakfast Buffet. Can not say anithing bad.

excellent séjour à Lamai Wanta!
le seul bémol réside dans la partie restaurant qui n est très réactive, mais la gentilesse et la disponibilté du personnel atténue ce point!
nous recommandons vivement cet hôtel pour celles et ceux qui souhaitent être tranquilles au calme mais sans être coupés de l animation puisque l hotel est situé dans une rue qui débouche directement sur la rue principale de Lamai!

The best thing of the hotel: nice territory, not many people at the beach, very helpful stuff, DVD players in each room with DVDs available at the reception (helped during the raining days), breakfast is not bad although not great. The minuses: it is close to two very noisy bars. It is OK to sleep only if your room is at the first floor within the territory of the hotel, and does not face the beach or the street. Otherwise, you will be listening to the boomimg noise until at least 2 am.
Recommendation to find a hotel a little bit farther to the right from the Lamai Wanta, it must be quiter, as the other hotels are a little bit farther away from the main street. <span style="display:none">[Thailand Guiden.se integr.ERR:escaping]</span>

Great resort, right in the middle of Lamai. Good breakfast with restaurant right on the beach. Staff are friendly & helpful. We stayed in the basic rooms which were large, clean & had everything you would need.
